The Cardinals won scoring 13 to 12 against Little Rock McClellan on Nov. 8.

Number 13, Javien Clemmer, a junior scored the winning touchdown. The team will go on to play in the playoffs this Friday, Nov. 15

“Last Friday’s game was hard and muddy,” said Mark Welch, sophomore.

Team player Ja’Coriae Browns, sophomore, feels fantastic about Friday’s game and he is very confident in going to play Little Rock Christian.

“The defense did an incredible job holding them to 12 points and forcing a fumble that led to us recovering and scoring the winning touchdown,” said Coach Carmody.  Carmody said that offensively the team had a hard time getting things going, but EJ Gates made an incredible play that led to their first score of the game. Overall, he said, it was a combined team effort and a hard-fought win.

“I’m not that excited that the season is over but I’m hype that we made it to the playoffs,”  says JaCobie Williams, senior.
