The Steel Magnolias play took place on Dec. 6 at 6 PM and Dec. 7 at 7 PM. The play took place in the Little Theatre at Camden Fairview High School. The Theatre I and II class and Thespian Troupe #5780 hosted the play.

Kiara Welch played Shelby, Shantrice McCree played Ouiser, Carmen Clark played Clairee, Destani Norman played Truvy, Samantha Hawkins played Annelle, Talyssa Mitchell played M’Lynn.

Sophomore Mercedes Sanchez stated, “I really enjoyed watching the play and it was a really good experience.”

Junior Kiara Welch who played Shelby said, ” it was a really good experience even though it was tough remembering our lines, we all still had fun.”
